Alison Jantzie is a versatile performer whose career has taken her all over the world. She has been a Radio City Rockette in New York City for three seasons, and currently she is originating a role in the new production Heart and Lights at Radio City Music Hall. Other New York Credits include Fiorello! at City Centre, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, ABC’s ‘Unwrapped: The Radio City Christmas Spectacular’, the Lustgarten’s Rock and Roll Holiday Bash, and the NBC segment: ‘My New York’ in Taxi cabs throughout the city. Some of her favorite theatre credits include Mary Poppins (the MUNY), Aida (The Starlight Theatre), Crazy For You (Drayton Entertainment), The Music Man (The Stratford Shakespeare Festival), Moby Dick (The Stratford Shakespeare Festival), High School Musical (Drayton Entertainment), Cats (Stirling Festival Theatre) and The Drowsy Chaperone at the Manitoba Theatre Centre. Alison’s film and television credits include Murdoch Mysteries, and the L.A Complex. Alison has worked with the Walt Disney Entertainment Company where she had the privilege of travelling the globe while dancing at sea, and her interests in choreography and dance have allowed her to work with some of Canada’s most sought after musical directors and choreographers. Alison is thrilled to be returning to Alberta as a director of I.D Inspire Dance at the Red Deer College, and always enjoys spending time with the students at Strive.
