Michelle Anderson (she/her)

Miss Michelle has 25 years of experience working extensively with dance studios and gymnastics clubs, as well as taught at educational conferences across the province helping them implement programs that improve flexibility, strength, and tumbling skills through developmentally appropriate progressions.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and is a certified instructor in Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Sutton Flexibility, a Level three (national competitive level) rhythmic gymnastics coach through the National Coaching Certification Program, a course conductor, and is currently working on becoming a master coach developer through the Coaching Association of Canada. Michelle has helped train gymnasts who have successfully auditioned and trained at the Cirque school in Montreal as well as helped choreograph mass routines and taken groups to three Canadian Gymnaestradas and to the World Gymnaestrada in Switzerland where their group participated with 25,000 other performers on a world stage. This summer she will be taking a group of rhythmic gymnasts to Festival Del Sol in Italy.

She is a skilled practitioner who continues to expand her knowledge of current best practices through professional development opportunities. Michelle has enjoyed working with Strive Dancers, and the Strive organization and looks forward to continuing to teach at Strive Dance Academy.
